Notre Dame's Month
Mary physically brought Jesus to us, and our graduates, through their acts of love, justice, and kindness, bring Jesus to the world.
The month of May is special to Catholics, as it is the time when we pay homage to the Blessed Mother, Mary. May, too, is a special month here at Notre Dame Preparatory School, for it is when our seniors graduate. They walk through our Gateway after a four- or, for some, a seven-year, experience having grown stronger intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as young women ready – and able – to transform the world.
The School Sisters of Notre Dame founded Notre Dame Prep in the Blessed Mother’s honor, and her example of humility, obedience, and service has inspired generations of NDP alumnae. Mary physically brought Jesus to us, and our graduates, through their acts of love, justice, and kindness, bring Jesus to the world. May the example of the Blessed Mother, her open heart, and her unending kindness fortify our graduates on the next phase in their life journey!
